Sophie & Ross

Set against the exquisite backdrop of splendid Sibton Park, Sophie and Ross tied the knot With Honor on a crisp, winter’s day in December.

The wedding party was based at the gorgeous, 14-bedroom, Georgian manor house and an elegant marquee was erected within the landscaped, parkland grounds.

Situated in Suffolk, within the exclusive Wilderness Reserve, the Sibton Park Estate was the perfect place to welcome friends and family from across the UK and Ireland.

A champagne reception was held within the picturesque, walled garden for the couple’s closest family members and friends on the Friday night.

A Rolls Royce and six chauffeur-driven Mercedes cars then lined up to take the bride and bridesmaids to the Church of St Mary at nearby Huntingfield.

After a wonderful ceremony (at which more than a tear or two was shed!) the party returned to Sibton for canapés, mulled wine and Champagne.

Delicacies included the likes of breaded prawns with sriracha mayonnaise and wild mushroom arancini.

Speeches were held and the cake was cut before the party sat down to their delicious, three-course dinner, prepared and served by the estate kitchen.

Starters included pear and Roquefort salad with dressed chicory, the main course was beef fillet with fondant potato, seasonal greens and red wine jus or twice baked potato souffle with glazed asparagus – dessert was that great British favourite, sticky toffee pudding.

Guests could hover beside a table laden with local cheeses and wander between three reception rooms to enjoy port and coffee, before moving through to the orangery for the evening event.
